Dr. Rajiv Choudhary Qualification: M.B.B.S. – 1979, M.S. (Ophthalmology) – 1983 Dr. Rajiv Choudhary has done M.S. (Ophth.) in 1983 from M.G.M. Medical College, Indore (M.P.). He is currently the Director of Rajas Eye & Retina Research Centre, Indore. He has worked as a consultant in Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari (Gujarat) for 3 years. He is also running training programme in IOL & Phaco surgery for junior ophthalmic surgeons (trained more than 50 eye surgeons in Phaco) along with running charitable eye unit for poor patients. Dr. Choudhary has developed unique Capsulorhexis simulator software first time, which enables a surgeon to practice Capsulorhexis on computer (Copyright/Patent under process, Diary No. 30/04 - COSW). He has also developed a unique technique of using Subconjunctival Anaesthesia in Phacoemulsification, presented at AIOS Conference – 2004, Varanasi. Dr. Choudhary has been Guest Surgeon & performed live surgery at various workshops organised all over India (Maharashtra, M.P, U.P, Gujarat). There are several Papers presented at International conference held in Rome in 1986, at AIOS, M.P.S.O.S & other sub speciality conferences. In 2005, Dr. Rajiv Choudhary has been re-elected as Member: Scientific Committee. He has also been a Life member of All India Ophthalmic Society & American Society of cataract & refractive surgery. Dr. Rajiv Choudhary has received the ‘Sir Raibahadur Pandit Memorial Award’ for his work in Medical & Social circle. and “Gold Medal” from intraocular Implant & Refractive Society at Pune 2005.
